Buffalo Chicken-Stuffed French Bread

Buffalo Chicken-Stuffed French Bread

Ingredients
2 Tbs olive oil
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups bleu cheese crumbles, divided
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup Buffalo wing sauce
1 Tbs ranch dressing seasoning
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 green onions, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Using a serrated knife, cut along the top edge of the bread and halfway down into the middle of the loaf to create a bowl shape. Pull out bread from the center of the loaf but not all the way to the bottom. Rub the inside of the bread with olive oil. Place bread on a baking sheet. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, stir together the cream cheese, 1 cup of bleu cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, wing sauce and seasonings. Add two-thirds of the chicken. Stir to combine. Spoon the mixture into the bread bowl. Top with the remaining chicken, 1/2 cup of bleu cheese and bacon. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden. Top with green onions. Let cool for 10 minutes. Slice the stuffed bread before serving.
